The Conference will be held in Auckland, New Zealand. An exciting programme of keynote speakers as well as the Henderson Oration is ahead. The Henderson Oration recognises the contribution of the science of hydraulics to the practice of hydrology and water resources engineering. In addition to three days of podium papers and field trip, workshops before and during the Conference are offered to discuss and upskill for emerging and updated hydraulic methods. This conference covers all aspects of hydraulics in water engineering, including: River, Coastal and Marine Hydraulics; Hydraulic Structures; Three Waters; Ecohydraulics; Infrastructure as well as Numerical, Field and Physical Hydraulic Methods.
The Conference will be held in early summer in the city of Auckland, within walking distance of the CBD, museum, art gallery, parks and the Waitemata waterfront. Imagine an urban environment where everyone lives within half an hour of beautiful beaches, hiking trails and a dozen enchanted holiday islands including Waiheke and Great Barrier Islands. Auckland is boasting three harbours, two mountain ranges, 48 volcanic cones and more than 50 islands.
